Krasnopresnenskaya embankment

The three-kilometre stretch of the beach from Exhibition Lane to Novoarbatsky Bridge is a great place for recreation and walks. Kotelnaya embankment

The famous promenade occupies a section between Potcharny Lane and the Small Ustyinsky Bridge. This bank of the Moscow River was decorated with stone in the 19th century and reconstructed in the 30s of the last century. In 1952, a legendary Stalin high-rise was built here - one of the most striking symbols of the capital.

Here, in addition to the famous house on the Kotelnicheskaya embankment, there are other unique attractions: the building of the poorhouse, built by merchants Mazurinym on the project of the architect Kaminsky in 1887, two houses of the 20th years in the constructivism style, the house of the Chudov monastery, «Theatre on the embankment».

Presnya embankment

Presnenskaya embankment begins at Testnaya Street and crosses into Smolenskaya embankment. On the map of Moscow it appeared in the XIX century, but old sights on this section of the coast is not. Here come lovers of modern architecture and new technologies.

It is here, on the site of the old quarry, on an area of 100 hectares located futuristic complex «Moscow-City» - one of the most extraordinary business centers in Europe. Another interesting object is the pedestrian bridge Bagration, built on the project of Thor. Lock embankment

The embankment is located in Zamoskvorechye, between the bridges of Small Krasnoholmsky and Novospassky. On the map of the city the object appeared in the XIX century - in this period began the active industrialization of the area, which continued after the revolution.

The main attractions: the grandiose buildings of the shoe factory «Paris Commune», unique garages of the 1920s with facades in the form of a bay window - a rare example of constructivism, the headquarters of the telecommunications company in the house of 1913. From the pavement there are beautiful views to the opposite shore with modern buildings.

Prechistenskaya embankment

The embankment is located in the central part of the city, in the area of Khamovnikov, between Lenivka Street and Novokrimsky Proezd. Its popularity is due to its successful location - come here to admire the beautiful architectural and historical monuments and walk along the picturesque bank of the Moscow River.
